When Kishimoto took time off for "data", this is the best he can do?! I have read this chapter so many times and everytime I read it, I get more mad. Not because it is full of pink-and-yellow crap, it is because of how it is presented. Now that the NaruSaku fans are going "ZOMG! Sakura lubz Naruto! NaruSaku iz cannon", I just don't see the case, at least not in this moment. Now it's worse that peoplehave the gull to compare Sakura's confession that it is more believeble Hinata's confession. If a pairing will be canon by soley a confession, NaruHina would win believe it or not. Why? Let's see:

Hinata admitted to Naruto that she was selfish,even though there is not much prove about her being so. Her confession had so much feeling, it would be hard to think that she was lying. Plus, she confessed in the middile of a bigass battle! Who would lie while doing that?! As a result, Naruto cried after Pein stabbed her and turned into a different form of Kyuubi. I'm not clarifying that his outburst means he loves her back, but proves he believed that she was serious about what she said about loving and protecting him. (CH. 458 FTW! )

Sakura's "confession" has what Hinata's confession lacks: truth and passion. Naruto is not as dumb as people think he is. He is aware of her feelings for Sasuke; he noticed it in Part 1. And if Sakura's feelings for Sasuke have disappeared, what she is saying is for him to abandon the man who is like a brother to him. As the girl who has been around Naruto the most, she should know that Naruto is not a quitter nor will he abandon his friends, whether that friend is a traitor or not. Not only that, Sakura lacks the feeling on the expression on her face and (I know it's a manga chapter) in the tone of her voice. If she truly does love Naruto, wouldn't she have a more passionate expression like Hinata did when she confessed to him? I am not suprised of Naruto's "I hate people who lie to themselves" response if what I think is true.

Is this the end of NaruSaku? If it becomes canon, what's the point of Hinata's confession? Will Sakura "cut the bullshit" and tell Naruto the truth? Only another 469 pages to go to find out.

Marvel movies being edited into a HSM/Camp Rock/Jonas Bros/Hannah Montanna NIGHTMARE!
